STORIES TO START SOMETHING

Other lives. New ideas.
Your next chapter.

Striking Stories is a place to find a new direction and people to explore it with. We bring together films, conversations, and ideas about reinvention, technology, and creative lives—then turn that curiosity into learning paths, practical projects, and shared conversations.

THE SPIRIT OF THESE TIMES

The future is something
we take part in.

Tools are becoming more powerful. The old maps for work, identity, and a good life feel less certain. It can be exciting, overwhelming, or both. We believe curiosity is a way to meet that uncertainty—with open eyes and something worth trying.

We’re interested in people who begin again, technology that expands what people can do, and the craft of making a life your own. Solar energy belongs here alongside storytelling. Robotics alongside the nature of the mind. The connections are part of the point.

Our optimism has questions. Who benefits? What is the evidence? What gets lost? We make room for disagreement, older wisdom, unfinished ideas, and people finding their feet. You don’t have to keep up with everything to take a meaningful next step.

Watch with attention. Make something of it. Share what you learn. That’s the invitation behind Write yours.

THE PROGRAMMING NOTES

Curiosity, with a point of view.

Understand what is changing.

Energy, robotics, AI, biology and the systems around us. Start with a clear explanation, then look at evidence, constraints and who benefits. A product demonstration is a perspective, not an independent verdict.

Keep the human in the frame.

Judgment, creative practice, money, relationships and starting again matter alongside technical skills. We pair new tools with older questions. Philosophy and personal stories are labeled as perspectives, not scientific proof.

Leave with something.

Paths run from one week to 26 weeks. Each session has a source and a practical exercise. Dates are suggestions; there is no lockout for falling behind. The goal is a question answered, a useful habit, or a project you can show.

Original creators keep their credit. Videos play through their original hosts; courses and readings open at the source. We include historical foundations with context and avoid treating older forecasts or prices as current facts. Suggestions enter an owner-reviewed queue.

01 / WATCH

Start with a channel.

Human Stories explores reinvention. Human Progress covers technology and science. The Creative Life brings together art, craft, and music. Tune in to the current program or browse the guide to see what comes next.

02 / HANG OUT

Grab a seat.

Sign in to chat, start a room, or suggest something to air. A room can be a conversation about what is on, a home for your scene, or a space for the things you are building.

03 / PROGRAM

Human taste. AI assistance.

Connected feeds bring existing work into the programming desk as the station is used. AI can suggest picks and connections. The owner reviews and approves the rotation. Original creators keep their credit and their original links.

04 / LEARN

Write yours.

Choose a curated path from one week to six months, or build your own from the library. Watch and read, try the fieldwork, save your progress, and download weekly calendar reminders.
